These are fantastic. I keep one in each guitar case so I don't need to readjust for neck thickness. I prefer Shubb partial capos for their low profile to make it easier to get past the capo and play the open strings between the capo and the nut.

      Durable build + adjustable tension!

I own two of these C7B partial capos and keep one in each guitar case of my two primary guitars. If I lost one, I would replace it in short order. These allow for quick access to very useful alternate tunings. The quality is first rate! I tried a couple different capo brands before I found Shubb. Since that time, I have replaced all my capos with Shubb brand. This should give you a pretty good idea of what I think of their products!

    • Shubb Partial Capo

I love Shubb capos and this partial or cut capo is awesome. Using this capo takes me out of my standard tuning and licks and into a new landscape. I come up with new ideas consistently when using this Shubb Partial capo. Thank you for an excellent product.

    • If you are a guitar player and have not played around with partial capos, you are missing out!

For starter, try this on the second fret of your guitar and play G and D shaped chord progressions. Some great harmonics! Change keys by adding a full capo as you move them up the neck, two frets apart.

    • I appreciate good engineering

This capo is exceptionally well designed and manufactured. It locks into place with ease, and easily removed. It may not be a spring loaded "quick change" capo, but in my 46 years of playing guitar I've never actually needed to change a capo position mid-song. I highly recommend this capo.

    • Good look and good feel

The color and the look is nice. Just wish it was a clip on just like a Kysler capos. I wish they make 3 string cut capos for 12 string guitars.
