Heroes Over Europe is a combat flight simulation set during World War II. A high-def-capable sequel to the previous console generation's Heroes of the Pacific, the game focuses on dogfights, calling on players to use both skill and three-dimensional tactics to shoot down enemy fighter planes. Over three dozen flyable aircraft are featured, including all major models employed by German and U.S. forces. As with its predecessor, the game's difficulty can be adjusted, to accommodate realistic flight sim-style piloting challenges as well as a more forgiving arcade style of play. The action takes place in some of the war's most infamous air battles, over detailed recreations of London, Berlin, and other city and countryside locations. As many as 16 virtual pilots can fly into battle together online, in four multiplayer modes.

If you're paying around $10 for it it's worth the price. More of an arcade fighter plane game. Got mine cheap and liked it, don't overpay.

Heroes Over Europe (Xbox 360, 2009) review
This is a challenging game with great environments and landscapes. A fun flight game with gravity! It has a wide variety of planes to fly. It also has lots of WW2 footage, and newsreel type of missions. I love a flight game that lets you take off from the ground, then fly to your objectives. The only negative is the length of the missions, which is common among most flight games. All in all this is a very good, fun game with hours and hours of enjoyment.This is a challenging game with great environments and landscapes. A fun flight game with gravity! Heroes over Europe
The game is pretty good; It continues where the previous game left it, but the improvements are evident. The graphics are gorgeous! The play is good; but at rookie level is very easy; I guess it will get better as the difficulty level increases' I miss the upgrades form the previous game, though. The ace kill gets a little getting used to, but adds a challenge to the mix.

Being a vet of World War II, I am extremely interested in WW II games especially these as they represent quite a close representation of experience that went on during the war. I bought it for this purpose. Even though I spent my time behind the wheel control of a B-24 aircraft, I was familiar with the different tactics and warfare of the fighter groups in both Europe and the Pacific. These are most interesting to me as it simulates a part of combat that I was familiar with, but did not experience.Being a vet of World War II, I am extremely interested in WW II games especially these as they represent quite a close representation of experience that went on during the war. I bought it for this purpose. x box games vary in each players taste.but this game i liked even though for me i find it very challenging.flying them old warbirds interest me more than the new jets of today.theres just too much going on it seems.i'm in my late fifties and still come in out of the heat sit down with a cold ice tea and turn on the x box and fly the unfriendly skies of europe.everyone should have it so easy to unwind,let your hair down and leave the troubled world outside.get up there and fly!x box games vary in each players taste.but this game i liked even though for me i find it very challenging.flying them old warbirds interest me more than the new jets of today.theres just too much going on it seems.i'm in my late fifties and still come in out of the heat sit down with a cold ice tea and turn on the x box and fly the unfriendly skies of europe.everyone should have it so easy to unwind,let your hair down and leave the troubled world outside.get up there and fly!
