    An exquisite presentation of a science fiction classic

    I've always love 2001 A Space Odyssey from the first time I saw it at the Boyd Theater in Philadelphia in 1968. At the time it was considered the ultimate acid trip. Anyone from that era will know those times weren't all that special but I digress. The 4K presentation is magnificent in both sight and sound and it would more than likely astonish both Arthur C. Clarke and Stanley Kubrick for it's absolute beauty and McCluhanesque imagery so perfectly conveyed. It's astonishing from the first images of the Dawn of Man to the Birth of the Star Child at the conclusion. It's magnificent in every possible respect.
