I tried a couple cheap ones before this and threw them away. this griddle makes others seem like toys. it has uniform heat accurate to the dial across the surface except about 2"on each side that runs about 100* cooler, it's useful to have these small cooler areas on a griddle. it is heavy and tall so be careful placing it under cabinets. i picked this seller because they showed it would ship from CA but came from NJ and took longer than expected

Very pleased, going to use as a transmission disassembly table, wish legs were taller but will come up with another solution. A regular transmission table cost and weight for shipping cost two times more, this is possibly an alternate solution. Not mentioned in the description but the 2 inch sides are a separate. Packaged very well but still a very minor dent from the shipper. I don't blame the seller or manufacturer and would buy again. Seller shipped quickly.
