    Best Deal I found

    Everything was as described. I used this for a media drive. Mine Crashed. My old hard Drive was running so slow, so I was somewhat prepared with everything backed up. When this new Hard Drive arrived I went into disc management and made the drive active and I was back in business. I can pull filed faster than I ever remember so I have to give it high marks. Lets hope it last a long time.

    Seagate ide drive. works great out of the box. great for older systems.

    I purchased a new drive off ebay, Im glad there are some still out there. I was experiencing problems with old drive on a win 98se system, since i still use older proprietory applications I was glad to find this drive and continue using my old PC. I simply cloned my old drive to the new one and everything works great. I think ill purchase a couple more for backup, the price is right. The interface is old technology, but suits my needs.

    Good old reliable performer

    This is an obsolete model these days, but I bought it to replace the one of the exact same model in an old TiVo (TiVos tend to really eat hard drives) that died after about 5 years. I always liked these for their quiet performance and reasonably cool running.

    When in doubt, stick to what you know and had good good luck with.

    Will only run Seagate, Western Digital or Hitachi Hard Drives. Been in the business to long and saw too many other type Hard Drives fail like Maxtor, Samsung and others.
