    The real thing, the real swing, it belongs in every home!

    All of the Manhattan Transfer's albums are laden with nostalgia, but few work as well as a time machine as Swing. This disc collects 13 classics from the swing era, from "A-Tisket, A-Tasket" to "Skyliner." All recall the past with the immediacy of a Burma Shave sign would. The Transfer felt the desire to recruit such talents as Ray Brown, Stephane Grappelli, Asleep at the Wheel, Ricky Skaggs, and Mark O'Connor this time out. The country contributions make these swing classics add interest to these covers, making this a Transfer CD that bears repeated listenings.

    Swing by The Manhattan Transfer CD

    If you like jazz and bee bop sung with incredible style and fun, this album is the one for you and highly recommended. No one sings jazz with wonderful musicians or a capella like The Manhattan Transfer, and what they do with their voices is remarkable. Their rendition of Ella Fitzgerald's "A Tisket A Tasket" is pure enjoyment, and each of the songs was carefully selected for this album. They embody the title "Swing." Get up and dance. I love this CD.

    My favorite group.......

    I bought this because I adore Manhattan Transfer group and music. This album is added into my other Manhattan Transfer album collections. I listen to them all day everyday.It's wonderful "feel good" music. For me, I can be having a really bad day but I add happy, delightful, spunky music Manhattan Transfer music and my day instantly gets better.
