I knew it would not come with a power adapter; but I always save my power lumps; so no problem. Ethernet hubs are not produced anymore as far as I can find. Ethernet switches will hide traffic not directed to/from a PC. I needed to see that traffic. A Ethernet hub does not direct traffic to particular ports but instead sends it to all ports. Of course, since these hubs are old, they do not support 1GB; but for my needs that is not an issue.
