The perfectly portable Microsoft Wedge Mobile U6R-00001 wireless keyboard is designed for use with Windows 7 and Windows 8 tablets, but it also works with iPad and Android tablets. This wireless keyboard makes even the dullest task seem more enjoyable. The Microsoft Wedge wireless keyboard is ultra-thin and lightweight, which makes it compact enough to take on the go. The soft-touch keyset is full-sized and ergonomic, so you can type for extended periods of time. The keyboard also features built-in, easy to access media keys that work for music or video apps (previous, play/pause, and stop for instance), a Windows start key, and hotkeys that make it efficient to use and easy to control when used on a Windows tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. Accessories included with the Microsoft Wedge Mobile keyboard include a cover that doubles as a tablet stand. The soft-touch keyset makes typing a breeze, as only the lightest touch is needed for typing. The cover that doubles as a tablet stand is just one of the things that gives the Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard an ideal balance of form and function. It also features Bluetooth technology that eliminates the need for any cables or transceivers. The Microsoft Wedge Mobile Keyboard is only 10.25 inches long and 4 inches deep, which makes it one of the smallest tablet keyboards around. The materials used for the keyboard are an aluminum base, plastic keys, and a rubber cover. It only weighs 1 pound, and that is with the two triple A batteries installed. When you put the rubber cover back on, the keyboard automatically shuts off, so you do not have to worry about wasting battery life when you are traveling. The battery tray is conveniently located on the bottom the keyboard. It is a simple process. You push the battery icon in and a tray slides out far enough to take out or put in your batteries. Happily, the tray does not slide all the way out, so you don’t have to worry about losing the battery tray. The keys are tapered with a 17.5mm key pitch, which is close to normal, full-sized, desktop keyboards. The function keys and the arrow keys are very small, but the fact that a tablet keyboard comes with a numpad as well as the QWERTY keyset is pretty amazing.     Useful features!

    It's a good quality product! This one was used, but the product itself was in good working condition. I love that it uses AAA batteries, so no need to be charging it. Types well, keys are easy to type on. The cover conveniently serves as a stand for the tablet, which is a super feature. I love that the keyboard goes on standby when not in use, so it saves power. When I need to type again, I simply start to type, and a second or so later, what I typed appears on the screen.

    Compact, great design but no "Fn lock"

    I will take 1 stars because their is no Fn lock function that allow users to use function keys as regular ones instead of media keys. Now you always have to combine them with Fn keys to press F1-F12. The heavy keyboard cover/tablet stand is a good idea if you are using this with a tablet. I would have appreciated more if the keyboard comes with a lightweight cover.

    Great keyboard

    I like the feel of the keyboard as I type -- similar to my laptop. Probably not a great keyboard for people with large hands as the keys are tightly packed together. Great feature if you have smaller hands since you willl experience less "travel" as you work across the keyboard. Very well made.

    fine keyboard, pairing with multiple devices at the same time isn't possibl

    this is my first BT keyboard, so nothing much to compare with, but buttons are large that was what I wanted - buttons which are easy to press. Maybe this is problem of all BT keyboards and peripehials, but I don't like the fact, that it can be only associated with one BT peer, I wanted to use it with my desktop and with pad, but unfortunatly it is not possible without doing a new pairing each time :(

    Wifi KB and Mouse

    It's for sure worth buying, amazing both keyboard and mouse! Super simple to setup and the design is flawless! Love how it comes with a rubber cover for the keyboard to protect it from dust and whatever else. I use them for my dell venue 8 tablet with OS 8.1. I got nothing to say negative about this product, it's all they way 100% EXCELLENT!
