The early days of the bad boys of rock n roll!
This video is fantastic! It has all the music videos that they made up until that point in their careers. The documentary footage which was a lot of fun as well. The only complaints that come to mind, are that I wish that the video was a lot longer. It would've been nice to get some more back stage footage. Perhaps, a live concert shot or two. I also wish that they would put this out on DVD already. Either way, awesome video for every Cruehead's collection. Its great to see Motley Crue doing their thing back in the day! Not What I Hoped For
Not a bad rockumentry but not a good one either. Motley could have done a better job showing their process of creating an album, more behind the scenes in the studio and better backstage footage. It was made clear that they were working on the "Girls Girls Girls" album but they gave us nothing of what went into the making of it. For me there just wasn't anything of real substance in this video. There was nothing I didn't already know lots of alcohol and skanks, but it was the era of the hair band. Sex Drugs and Rock n' Roll!!!! (No drugs shown in the video)Not a bad rockumentry but not a good one either. Badass band, badass video!
I still haven't gotten to watch this tape, as my niece destroyed my VHS player days before the tape arrived. However, I have seen several clips online and love everything I have seen. I love this type of behind the scenes video. This is Motley Crue up close and personal, raw and sleazy.

If you love classic 8os hair bands this video has it all. I bought it when I was 15 and watched about 20 times and now Im 30 and just bought it again. Maybe a mid life crisis.
