    Make sure of the polarity required for your application.

    Old cars from the 1960's etc are not polarity specific. These will work if you make a wire harness with blade connectors to reverse polarity. Or just spend the extra two bucks and buy the NP units that are not polarity sensitive. Easy to adapt and they work well.

    Works even without bulbs.

    I bought this relay so I can use led bulbs in my 90 Mex Suburban and it works perfect, it will keep flashing even without bulbs! Actually it flashes one more time after the turn signal switch has been turned off, not sure if it has anything to do with the ground cable, I may need to find a better place to ground it. In the other hand not sure if I really needed it because I went back to incandescent bulbs, led bulbs are just not bright enough for some uses.

    Works well, sensitive to very low current draw

    I've found multiple "led compatible" flashers advertised but had trouble verifying the minimum current required to start them. All seemed to have a maximum current rating, but it was hard to find any of the round style with a minimum current rating. I bought this one because I've previously used rectangular-style memotronics LED flashers that worked properly with LEDs. This one is no exception - on my bench it worked when I connected it to only a single LED bulb that draws 40 mA. In the car with multiple LED bulbs connected, it works great.
