With minimal effort, I was able to remove the library stickers, lightly sand off the library stamps, and now it practically looks as if I bought it brand new. Seller was also kind enough to acquiesce to my request of having the book sent in a padded box rather than a bubble mailer. Stellar seller, stellar purchase.
