Better than most
After several attempts at using cheaper model clippers I read the reviews on this one and decided it was worth the extra money to try. A little on the heavy side but that's not an issue for me, super long cord. It came with 4 combs and the oil so that was a plus. I clipped the dog last week so didn't have much to do on him today but wanted to try it out. Neck hair was almost impossible to clip with the old clippers so that needed to be done. Hair was growing in several directions. First try with these and it did a great job, cut right through it rather than lay the hair down. My dog is a Chihuahua/Maltese mix but seems to have the maltese hair. I think a full cut will be easy and the clippers will pay for itself in savings. Have a blue heeler with a short thick coat and it works very well on her it does get hot and u have to let it cool down a few minutes but still alot better than taking her to the groomers

I’ve tried the more economical pet clipper for a long time and struggled with them and ended up getting out the scissors and finishing the job. Which made both me and my dog nervous. My dog has that real fine hair that is very hard to cut. So I finally got a professional andis clipper and was impressed how much better it cut than what I have been using.
