I've heard bad things about 3rd party shells, but this one was fairly sturdy and looks clean. Overall I'm really happy with the final product. Beware though, the hinge on the bottom shell is NOT cut with the correct shape, so you will have to sand it down to the correct shape before you insert the actual hinge piece, otherwise you might end up breaking the shell.
