    good product

    I have a Mallory electronic distributor system for my old 68 Camaro. The old cap wore out (the carbon thing in the middle). I checked auto parts stores in the area, no one carried it anymore. I was very happy to have found this on Ebay, and for a decent price. It fit perfectly and have had no issues, good solid design and quality.

    Mallory dist Cap

    I like the cap as it went with my Mallory distributor. When comparing with the original Mallory cap it did not seem as it was as sturdy as the original. The new cap is made in America, as was the older one. Now MSD owns Mallory, so they probably have their own specs. That is not a complaint, it is just an observation. Over all the cap is quality, and it serves its purpose well. Packaging was in a decorated Mallory box. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a Mallory cap. The off shore caps look similar, but I would not trust them. They may give out at the most inappropriate time. Over all this is a good value.

    functions as it should,color is off

    i did not recommend this because of the pink color instead of a vibrant red that they used to be,the quality is still questionable due to the color. maybe quality control was having a bad day.

    Knockoff cap

    Cap is a knockoff, it is pink loose fitting, but probably will be close enough to work. Inner webbing is also thinner than original around center under cap.
