    BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

    Ultimately, this book is a disappointment. It is smaller in size than anticipated, thus the pop ups are not as big as they could have been, making the whole idea a lot less fun. The pop ups are not of some the more spectacular Faberge items, with the exception of the Coronation Coach figure. All the pop ups appear to wrinkled. I wouldn't recommend this book unless it was stated to be in very mint condition. It could be possibly a book more for children than for fun adults. Not good at all.

    Imperial Surprises by Margaret Kelly (1994)

    I like all kinds of books. I purchased this book as complementary to my collection in Art and History. I also knew, if it was bright and shiny, my young grandchildren would enjoy this book with supervision. I rated this book "Below Average". The book ending was like "Is this all there is?". It did not finish well. Would not recommend for children without supervision of an adult.

    Imperial Surprises

    A great book. Love the eggs and all the pop-up work, Very happy with book. Has a the history of the eggs and some other things that the Tsar purchased. I love their eggs so for me a very interesting and beautiful book.
