Thank you for your patience, and the positive feedback. For the record, I'd just want to mention that lindendrafts selected and paid for the USPS Ground Select service at checkout. The trouble was likely caused by the inclement weather in your region during Jan / Feb of '24. Took it to post office on 1/29 and tracking shows that it was "available for pickup" on Feb 1 w/ it eventually being p/u by Buyer on Feb 3.

    Pretty well designed for safety, considering the challenges involved. Easy to use.

    I own two of these and use them on two different bikes. Well, one bike's actually a trike. I have a young, fit 50-lb. dog and feel very safe and comfortable using this on the trike. On the bike, I feel less secure -- if she were to lunge really hard at a squirrel or deer (we live in the woods) I suspect she'd pull me over. But overall, the device absorbs a lot of shock. For that reason, I prefer the trike! And of course I'm working with the dog on not lunging -- but it's a process. This gadget is also very easy to install and use. And having it makes it much, much easier to give my dog a reasonable amount of exercise.

    Springer dog leash bike attachment

    It’s a good way to give my energetic 2.5 year old Am Staff some good exercise at her speed. I’m replacing the light rope attachment to her harness with a 4’ lead with spring clips on each end. We don’t have to ride close to any trees or sign posts. So far so good.

    grest quality product

    Great product and value. I have been using a springer for 20 years with my doberman pinchers and it keeps them in condition. I learned years ago not to use the breakaway leads that are supplied with the springer with a large dog. They will break the lead easily. I use a short lead that has clips on each end so I can move it quickly between bikes. The clips I use came from old unused leashes. I teach my dogs to never let anything get between them and the bike. The dog and/or the rider will get injured if the bike and the dog go on opposite sides of a post or pole (like a stop sign) since there is no breakaway.
