    Reliable Drivetrain

    Current year's XT is pretty much last year's XTS. This set is a workhorse and will last a lifetime if maintained properly. Not too impressed with the chain so I replaced with a KMC. I received the set missing the Shimano plastic adapter for installation of the bottom bracket. Make sure you confirm with the seller that it's included before buying. Had to make a trip to my LBS and pick one up.

    Great 11-speed chain!

    Remember this is a 'directional' chain and so it must be installed to move in the proper direction on the drive train, which is easy to forget. The directions on this are not detailed, but it's easy to figure out. It does come with two connection pins. I've found the operation of the new chain to be smooth and quiet, with solid shifting.

    Super smooth

    Just switched to Shimano, after decades of Campy. Ran Wippermann chains for the last 14 years. The DA chain is at least as good as Wippermann, if not better. Super smooth. Be nice if it had a quick link, Wippermann's doesn't work with this chain. 10 outta 10.
