I was very surprised how easy this was. I just put the SD card in the designated slot, started my vehicle and the Nav system updated automatically. My dealer wanted $150 for the same card. Then they offered it to me for $100. This was a great value! Simple install! Thanks! E.

Who would know if it is beneficial? I had an A7 sim thing in my car. I got this A11 sim card and put it in. Looks the same to me. If it has new roads on it from somewhere in the nation how would I know? I have to just assume it is beneficial and is updated. I have always thought the Google Maps on my phone was more capable than the Ford Navigation. In a pinch I use my phone to plot a route. I am kind of neutral on whether you should get the thing or not. If it runs you short on money don't get it. A11 works just like the A7 near as I can tell. You surely would not want to pay what the Ford site is asking for the thing. Only reason I got this thing is it was fairly inexpensive. Good value and has what I was looking for.
The old SD card I had was 5 years old and a number of new roads have been built near where I live including a major toll road that makes all the difference in getting around. The new SD card has all the new roads and really helps in planning trips around town. Great value over purchasing a new SD card from Ford.

Looks legit. My Ford Focus’ navigation loaded the map in the SD card as the original A5 map (time wise). I’ve an A9 map that has a noticeable lag. The data in the A11 is probably 2 years old (some old speed limit changes), but streets are up to date.
