Lots of Features. Hard to Clean.

Lots of different settings, easy to use, goes up to 450 degrees. Dehydrator is wonderful, especially for my fruit roll ups. The cook book has some great recipes. The only thing that stopped me from giving it a perfect 5 is that the basket, trays, and inner part of the door are hard to clean. From the first time I used them, they developed a brownish tint that's very difficult to get rid off, if at all possible. I have a Pinsoon Air Fyer that I still use to help cook large meals faster, and it's so much easier to clean. No need for heavy scrubbing as with the Cuisinart. The grease on my Pinsoon comes off almost immediately once I put water on it. Cuisinart could have done a better job at getting better quality materials.

  • Top critical review

    as described, kind of.

It cooks well. I included a photo of a 12 inch pizza without cheese. We do not eat cheese so we have become pretty good at this. Both sides are, of course from different pizzas. Both made exactly the same. Both cooked in the same make and style pan. Both using the same recipe both on convection (not air fry) Both same time and temp settings. These are kit pizzas and both followed the directions on the box. The dark one is this unit. The perfect one was cooked with the Breville oven I just repaired. (after 10 years the fan quit, an impossible repair but that is another story and why I bought this Cuisinart to start with). Like many reviewers say, this Cuisinart cooks hot. Not a deal breaker since it can be turned down. When the temp was turned down 50 degrees it performed ...

  • Ok but a little quirky.

So far it has done a good job on toast. The tips of some of the sweet potato fries got burned, so I will go for a lower temp next time, the package and directions on the oven said 400 degrees and at 350 the outside started burning before the inside was done.I think the middle rack should be lower. The timer on the oven doesn't seem to work like that on the toaster side. The toaster side turns off easy but it feels like the knob would break if I kept trying to force the oven side off so I just turn the heat all the way down. The instructions say not to put it under a cabinet, but all my counters have a cabinet over it so I put it in a corner so there is lots of space behind it. The instructions also say to unplug it after each use which is not good for the socket it plugs into so I leave it ...

  • Crispy Wings at Home At Last

I really like this little stove. Fits well in the kitchen and easy to use. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the oven's interior light burned out within the first few seconds I used it. Went online to check out how to replace it and saw that many others have had the same problem with the oven light. It also appears that the entire oven has to be taken apart to replace the bulb, so we won't be replacing it. I don't think it's enough of a problem to return the unit, because you can always open the door and peep in. Almost wish it didn't have that feature so I wouldn't miss it.

  • A great addition to any small kitchen

I love my little cookbot! I don't think I would have bought a standalone air fryer, but I've used that function a lot on this and it turns out hot, crispy food really fast. I've used it for brussels sprouts, tofu nuggets, frozen fries, and reheating chicken leftovers and I'm just really impressed by what it can do. Much better than the microwave. The toaster function is easy to use and doesn't overtoast. I also used the bake function to reheat pizza and it turned out perfect, much quicker than expected. For anyone with a small but busy kitchen, it's a great backup for the range when the oven is occupied. Easy to clean and looks great, while not taking up a ton of space.
