My son has a 'friend' like this rabbit
I bought this book for my son who's stuffed puppy has been a best friend for the last seven years in the hopes that one day( when his stuffy disappears as all toys do )he can have a different perspective on it.

The Velveteen Rabbit (How Toys Become Real)
This particular book has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can recall. I read it to my daughters when they were little ... and portions of it were read again at their weddings. The whole of the story is that of love -- and how LOVE is what makes things real! This copy caught my eye, because of the book cover itself, and the drawings. I am delighted with this book -- and can now have it for myself (as I gave each daughter a copy for them & they now read it to their own young children)This particular book has been a favorite of mine for as long as I can recall.
