A well written history of the NYC from its early beginnings to its final merger days,and what it has now become.Plenty of color photos to go with the text,as the NYC grows over the years,covering steam,diesel,freight and passenger service,with a chapter devoted to Grand Central Terminal and electrification.For those that have been to GCT,many fond memories are recalled of the 'good old days!'
