Product Information

The influential punk-pop rock band Green Day goes interactive, with a dedicated release in MTV Games' successful play-along franchise. The game features the band's three core members, Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool, in virtual form, on stage at various venues important to the trio's storied career history. As in earlier editions of Rock Band, players can jam with the instrument of their choice, and the Green Day edition supports three-part vocal harmonies specific to the band's music. There are 47 playable Green Day songs on the disc, including "American Idiot," "Brain Stew/Jaded," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "Hitchin' a Ride," and "Wake Me Up When September Ends."

    I AM A ROCK BAND FAN SO I GAVE IT A SHOT. HOLDS YOUR INTEREST FOR SOME SONGS BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT SOME ARE DOWNRIGHT HARD TO PLAY. YOU HAVE TO LIKE THE PUNK STYLE. THEY WERE POPULAR BUT NOT SUPER HOT SO SOME SONGS I REMEMBER WHILE HALF OR SO I HAD NEVER HEARD BEFORE. NICE TO PLAY THRU ONCE. IF YOU CAN GET IT FOR A LOW PRICE TRY IT OTHERWISE SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR SOMETHING BETTER.

    woohoo green day to play on rock band

    this gives you a chance to play green day songs with your rock band instruments.to me it is like any other rock band game.it just has the greenday theme.there is not much to be said here.if you like greenday and you want to jam and listen to the tunes on rockband,this is the game for you.party on wayne!

    Another good entry in the rock band series

    Another great entry into the catalog of rock band games. The Green Day set list has a lot of their good songs but is missing a couple of favorites of mine. But all in all the game is very playable and a good time.
