Monopoly Streets Xbox 360 Better with family and friends
This game is not without it's annoyances in a few of the characters animations and repetitive sounds. However, playing with another family member or friend on the Xbox 360 allows one to use own avatar character which limits the annoying animations and sounds making the game even better. One to four players can play using separate controllers (each player must sign into the xbox). This reveiw is from a 40 yr old adult! This is LOTS of fun to play. I really enjoy playing. Graphics are "fun". Has several different "boards", but need to "buy" them with acheivements and points you earn playing the game. The EXTRAs in this game makes THIS game tons of fun VS the other versions of this game; example the Sega Genesis version I once played and enjoyed! Each game piece has its own charateristics on how they move, along with its own avatar. Like example: wheel barrow, with a country style lady (avatar) pushing it! Or the hat with the well to do guy chasing it! About the play. For the offical game (playing by the original rules): Difference that I know. A Wonderful Classic Game for Everyone...lots of options
I purchased this game because of loving this from way back when we played the classic board game as a child. It's even fun to play alone or 1 or more extra players, most won't play the board game with me, they say I always win...LOL! This is great because you can play the original board or the fully animated one from the start. You can pick your tokens, earn new tokens with points...even the tokens and the players are animated! You can turn on or off the tutorial announcer if you prefer not to listen to instructions on each play or leave it on for fun, or if you have never played it, it's very helpful. As you build up points you can unlock new boards and there are many ways to start off playing the game including a time limit one if you want to keep it short. I highly recommend this to ... Monopoly is a game my family played when I was a kid. I love the board game, not only because you get to play with others but also because it is so much fun. When my son bought me an Xbox 360 for Christmas last year I didn't think that I would find any games that I would like to play on it. Then I rented Monopoly Streets for the Xbox 360 and found that it was very hard to stop playing. I was up all night the fist time I played it. This game gives you all the original board game fun as well as new and exciting mini games and different boards to play on. You can play with others or against the computer. Love the game but hate the baby whiny crying and dog barking throughout the game.
I really love this better than a regular board game but only could give this four stars out of five. I got sick of hearing the dog bark after the sixth game with him and really hate the baby talk and cry whiny little girl you sometimes get when you play by your self or against one of the games player's. But I just have to keep starting a new game until I get a grown up player.
