The seller had to be contacted twice to get a full refund. The shipping cost was very expensive and item was poorly packaged.     Great book for the money

    This is a great book to learn from. Plenty of ideas and pretty pictures. I highly recommend this book to all who like to make floral arrangements . This is a great investment.

    Art of Floral Design

    This is an excellant 'textbook' for anyone wanting to learn about floral design. Norah Hunter covers everything from the historical use of flowers to the operation of modern floral businesses. The core of the book addresses the principles and techniques essential to floral designs , with extensive illustrations and photographs. Additional chapters cover designs for special occasions, including wedding and sympathy flowers. There is even a detailed appendix identifying flowers and greenery widely available to florists.

    "The Art of Floral Design" review

    This book is AWESOME as an informative reference for ones studying floral design. It not only has Excellent information and reference quides and explanations with definitions of flowers, foliage, and terminology, it also has GREAT design ideas and explanations on how to do them. Even the ONLINE school PCDI that offers Floral Design as a career option, offers this book as it's text. They only give copies of certain pages, but it was definately worth it as a serious student to purchase the entire book.

    I bought this book for a college class and it has been very helpful.I have read most of the book and it has a lot of useful information as far as designs and how to put things together.

    The Art of Floral Design by Norah T. Hunter (1994)

    This book as almost everything the second additon contains and is much cheapper to buy. I bought this book before I won the second addition, but I will keep both. Very good book to someone who wants to know all there is to know about flowers and how to arrange them.
