Boker Urban Tactical Knife Review
I purchased this knife as a discrete tactical last ditch weapon. The blade length is legal to be carried at my work. The knife has the appearance of a ball point when closed and inserted into a shirt pocket. The knife is actually smaller then it appears in the advertisements. It comes packaged in a fitted foam cardboard box. It fits my small hands and has a rough, contoured surface to aid with gripping. The grip is designed for a right or left hand grip. The body of the knife is black aluminum with a 440C stainless steel blade. The blade is small and is similar to a scalpel blade. It comes with a pointed cap installed and a separate cap that simulates a ball point pen top. A tool is provided to change these caps. It's a good option for those looking into getting a "tactical" pen. It's bigger than Boker's other version of this knife (Urban survival knife). Opening it is not quick but with a bit of practice, anyone can learn to deploy it when needed. The grooves and curves on the handle make for a firm grip on the knife, but I have not tested it when my hands get sweaty; the scales are a bit on the smooth side.
