Terrific Strings
These are the best sounding strings I've ever used on my Music Man Bongo. Great tone, durable, and easy on the finger tips. I would recommend them to any bass player looking for the comfort of flat wounds with the punch of cobalt technology.

I was looking for a bright sounding flat for my 5 string bass when I found these. I ordered 2 sets based on other internet reviews. While installing the first set the D string broke while initially tensioning it. So I opened the second set to rob the D string from it. After successful installation by using parts of 2 sets of strings I hooked up to my amp and was immediately disappointed to find the A string to be much duller and lower in volume than the other strings. I know the problem is not my bass as other strings work fine.I was looking for a bright sounding flat for my 5 string bass when I found these. I ordered 2 sets based on other internet reviews. Slinky Flatwound Cobalt strings are awesome!!!
I enjoy flatwound strings because they’re easy on the fingers and have a good sound. These Cobalt slinky strings are brighter than the steel ones. I really get some excellent tones from them.

These strings are amazing!
These strings sound just as good as round wound strings which I didn't think was possible. I am a slide the fingers kind of bass player playing chords a lot on my 5 string and there is literally no noise from my fingers going up and down the fret board. By far the most comfortable bass strings I've ever played.

Cobalt flats!
Lows are great, b string is not muddy at all. After putting 30-40 hrs on them they are still very bright. They have a really cool deep color to them and purple silks.
