    The Karajan World of Music

    This was a gift to a relative, sent to her for who would not like Karajan's music? Who could ever beat him in performance? As a child, I liked classical music, yet something was off with it. When I heard Karajan directing the same musical pieces, I loved them all: So harmonious! What did he change? I found out that he tuned his instruments in a different way than anyone else use to do. What a difference this made. Nowadays, many conductors tune their orchestral instruments likewise - and one can feel it. Thnaks to Karajan, it is a joy to listen to classical, harmonizing music!

    A very nice concert to be remembered.

    Plenty of waltzes by Strauss and some polkas. The video shows the theater, audience and orchestra; but sometimes, for instance, during the "On the Beautiful Blue Danube" it shows a nice ballet dance. A very beautiful New Year's Concert to be remembered.
