Their seventh full-length takes aim at those who use the bible to control the masses. The Bush Administration's legacy should keep the band in songs for years, from the war in Iraq to the economy. The group writes songs to build community and union, to create awareness and preparedness for when the students and workers of the world push to level the playing field and bring equality. They raise funds for those who need it most and have created the non-profit organizations Military Free Zone (combating a provision in the No Child Left Behind act that invades students' privacy for military recruitment purposes) and Underground Action Alliance (a networking site for social justice). These are an extension of what Anti-Flag's vision of punk rock is, was, and will always be.

I purchased a CD and the version that arrived was not the same version that was listed, with different tracks, etc - BUT - when I pointed this out to the seller, they refunded me extremely promptly and were apologetic, advising they didn't have the version I was after. So although they didn't have the item the service experience was still excellent, with the seller showing great integrity. I was very appreciative of it.

Seller made offer to purchase at a reduced price which was appreciated! However, 2 weeks from when the CD was marked as shipped to when it was received (going from Ontario to Florida) is a bit excessive. I guess the Canadian Post is much worse than USPS? Also, the CD was described as - Condition: Very Good, CLEAN WITH NO DAMAGE wasn't really spot-on. There are a number of light scratches and marks on the CD. Overall, I guess I'm pleased with my purchase - price for value received. Thanks!

    A dead center shot from "The People" with this record

    Anti-flag returns to their form with the great full length effort "The People or the Gun". With the in your face political message appealing to the loyal and new followers alike. The signature riffs and Justin Sanes vocals make this one of the best A-F releases since Underground Network. Wether you are an oldshcoler looking for the new stuff from your favorites, or just staring out into the punk scene, this is a must have.

    This Is The First Night

    Anti Flag return with a solid punkcore masterpiece that is sure to please fans who thought the band was selling out. This is every bit as good as any of their older albums. 4 Stars.
