Tecmo Super Bowl makes the leap from the NES to the Super Nintendo packed with features aimed to satisfy the most demanding Arcade fan. The game includes 28 NFL teams with real players based on 1993 Spring Training rosters. Play up to three different schedules or try to build a Super Bowl dynasty with the three-year mode, where you take control of one team for three consecutive seasons. Coach mode lets you simply call the plays and watch the computer carry them out. <br><br>Substitutions are important since players have different health conditions that can lead to injuries, and inclement weather (such as rain or snow) will affect your players' performance. While both team and player ratings are based on the 1992 season, battery backup allows you to store any recent statistics accumulated during play. Tecmo Super Bowl is an Arcade-style football game played on a horizontal field with an emphasis on action. Cinema screens add a flair of drama to key plays, and the eight offensive plays can be changed at any time with the customizable playbook.

    Tecmo Super Bowl + Super NT = Awesome!

    I like this version on the SNES. It reminds me of the NES version but with slightly better graphics and cut scenes. It feels more like a fun arcade football game unlike the other football games on the SNES. I like it even more playing it on Analogue's Super NT!

    First off too many folks use these to review their purchase experience and not the actual products. This is a fun arcade style football game for the snes. More of a pick up and play game than the madden franchise.

    Tecmo Super Bowl on SNES plays like previous Tecmo football games, with some enhancements. Tecmo Super Bowl consists of very simple, arcade-style football. The controls are very easy to learn, and the playcalling is not overly complex. Tecmo Super Bowl is so fun because of its very simplistic nature. It's a game that anyone can pick up and enjoy without having to be a football strategian. And unlike many sports games, Tecmo Super Bowl actually has some charm. There are many cutscenes and music tunes for events like rushing for 100 yards or sacking a quarterback. The music of the game really put me in a football mood.
