    A reliable workhorse

As with all Apple products, you turn it on it works, no extra setups, driver downloads, peripherals config, none of that well know Microsoft unreliability. Seamlessly and automatically ramps up from default CPU speed to turbo when peak load is experienced so that you never notice a decline in performance. Graphics are amazing multiple HD monitors supported either as expanded desktop or mirrored. Quiet as a mouse, with lightning speed wireless, blue tooth, and huge bandwidth thunderbolt port to connect to your external drives (more than 3 times the speed of USB3). All in all if you have a need for computer this little beauty is your best option forget PC and join the world of real computing hassle free.

  • The Mac Mini is a wonderful daily use machine and an awesome media center!

Let's keep this machine in perspective, it's not a Pro machine to edit your next Hollywood blockbuster, nor is it for adding lots of upgrades to "geek" out your machine, so that your favorite MMORPG runs at hyper speed. This is essentially a high end Mac laptop, minus the screen, and it's shoe horned into a tiny gorgeous chasis. So if you want a beautiful little computer that's very cost effective, has Apple's ease of use and plug and play, can do daily tasks extremely well, run perfectly as an HD media center, and also run some memory intensive programs like Adobe's Creative Suite for moderate use, then the Mini is your machine! There is a little controversy over the fact that this latest model of the Mini no longer has an optical drive for playing or burning discs. My initial thoughts ...

  • Great purchase!

I hadn't really intended to purchase, but made a bid $5 over the existing bid with less than a minute left. Luckily, I had a spare monitor, keyboard, and mouse to use it. I actually had two spare monitors, so I purchased an adapter for the second monitor. The seller forgot to format the drive. However, the Mac Mini built-in drive utility allowed me to re-format and install an OS over my home Wi-Fi. I then updated the OS to Yosemite, the current OS for Mac Minis. No issues. The unit came with a 500 GB internal hard drive and 6 GB of memory. I'm guessing the seller added the extra 2 GB. I plan to replace the 2 GB with a 4 GB to get to the maximum of 8 GB (two memory stick limit).

  • Possibly the best mac mini

I own two of these units. I've upgraded their RAM to 8 gigs (I'll probably upgrade them again to 16 at some point). They're fast, quiet, and very dependable. I've owned one for years and have never had any malware or viral issue. I use one for my base home unit, and another for my home recording studio. I absolutely love the machines!

  • Awesome Little Machine

I love this Mac. I got this particular model because it was small and I didn't need the screen or keyboard. Plus the price was comparable to some of the other "PC's" on the market. This is my first MAC and I find it more user friendly than the PC. Two things I would change though is to move the USB plugs to the front so that they can be accessed easier and make the hard drive space more accessible for expansion and upgrade (this is a recommendation better left for Apple). Other than the USB ports being hard to access it is the perfect size and works great with my 32" HDTV.
