The blu ray I ordered is for my father so it is important to me. I got a message from the seller saying that one of the discs had become loose inside the case (anyone who owns a cd, dvd, blu ray knows this happens a lot) and showed me a picture of the sealed case. Instead of just shipping they reached out with options from send as is, open and reattach or a full refund. I went with reattach. It arrived in fine condition, packaged well, and sooner then expected. Glad I chose this seller.

    Soap - The Complete Series

    I just started Season 3 and I must admit that this show keeps you interested. The characters range from zany, quirky to out of this world. And though this show debuted in the late 70's, it really holds up well. Not to mention it's a plus pointing out all of the wonderful actors that have passed through the series. For example, Robert Urich, Doris Roberts, Howard Hesseman, Candace Azzara, Harold Gould, Eugene Roche, Caroline McWilliams, Lynne Moody. Great acting, good story lines, and superb comedy.

    Soap - The Complete Series (DVD, 2008, 12-Disc Set)

    Bought this because I watched the first season, and decided I needed to see all 4 seasons. If you like the series Soap, this is a good buy. The show is great, but the presentation of the DVD could use more work. The menu screens are grainy, the DVDs are kept in a pile in a tray with a spindle rather than individual cases, there is no episode guide, and I didn't even know there were DVD extras until I unexpectedly found them on one of the discs. I've seen better presentation skills on bootleg DVDs from China. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The quality is as can be expected from a 1970's tv show, but is still much better than you'll get from a download.

    Soap - The Complete Series (2008, DVD)

    I bought SOAP on impulse, because I have always enjoyed Leslie Nielsen’s antics and had missed the series on TV while working on a Doctorate. It is a bit disappointing: not as hilarious as I had expected. The writing is sometimes flat in comparison with Cheers or Frazier. The humor of Benson’s attitude, etc., have lost their edge over time. But then, it is a satire on real soaps, which I don’t watch, and a viewer in 2008 must use a suspension of disbelief that includes a shift in time and social conditions. Besides, sitcoms probably have a better effect when watched one episode per week than when viewed in steady succession. In all, if not thoroughly engaging, it is generally good.

    The original politically incorrect show

    Fun, offensive, politically incorrect spoof of soap operas that will question what you know, what your opinions are and why you have them all while making you laugh. What more can you ask from satire? Unfortunately this set will not play on my DVD player and I must watch it on my laptop, which is somewhat tedious. This happens often with eBay purchased DVDs.
