    A Soap Classic

    Anyone who rushed home from school to catch this afternoon soap should have fond memories. Even more than the storylines themselves, the bloopers are what catches my attention the most. At the time of it's airing on ABC I do remember actors forgetting lines and such, but I never realized to what extent they did. There's even one moment during the end credits that Jonathan Frid steps out of a room, realizes his mistake, and quickly retreats. All of this, I find truly delightful. I have all of the collections from 1 to 13, and will no doubt get 14. This series of dvds are packaged extremely well in my opinion. The colors are much more vibrant today on high definition tvs than they were in the sixties. There's eight episodes on each of the 4 dvds. And at the end of each one, there are ...

    This is one of the best story lines of DS.

    I am a die hard fan of DS, having watched it when I was in elementary school. It made summers more fun since we didn't have cable tv, and just used our antenna. Brings back so many memories of the day. Love the gypsy story line much better now that I'm older, it makes more sense! Very gripping. :)

    Bloodthirsty? This will satisfy.

    What's not to LIKE? I mean, as far as episodes go, these stand out in relation to Angelique/Barnabus and that whole dynamic and some strange stuff--it's further on INTO the series and it's just nice to revisit these episodes. I LOVE it. I'm glad when they reissued these, they put cards and stuff like that in there and overall, everything is A-OK, including the extras. I'm "satisfied".
