About this product

Product Information

This History Channel special looks back at the crime wave of 1933-34, when some of America’s most notorious criminals-–Bonnie & Clyde, Pretty Boy Floyd, John Dillinger, and Ma Barker-–first made names for themselves. Fusing dramatic re-enactments with terrific archival photographs and newsreels, the program takes viewers on a journey through the bloodiest moments of the Great Depression.

  • Stick 'em up

I had been waiting for the DVD release of this History Channel documentary to be listed on E-bay at a great price, and here it is. Explores Depression-era lawlessness, focusing on Dillinger and Bonnie and Clyde (other major figures, such as Ma Barker and Alvin "Old Creepy" Karpis, are not addressed). Important viewing for anyone interested in American history, particularly American criminal history.

  • Very good product at a reasonable price.

I bought this DVD for Father's Day for my husband and he enjoys documentaries like this. I would recommend this to all that enjoy crimes of the past. No problems with the playing of the DVD good quality.

  • True to the title, fun and informative!

If you are into history at all, a lot of stories swirl around the characters in this documentary. The beginning of the publics love for personable criminals, the Great Depression, Banks, and on and on. Good stuff.
