    Great fun for a true collector

    What can I say? If you are a collector and have a fondness for Lionels, this lamp is kind of cool and may fit into your decor. Has that Art Deco look from the Frank Lloyd Wright era and the train is a fairly detailed representation of the heralded 700e. I think it was derived from those Avon trains they put out years ago. The cool feature is the train operation and sounds. Wheels spin, whistle blows and of course, the chug chug sound. Downsides are the lamp shade is a vacuum formed plastic and is more toy like than a piece of furniture. It is also missing the pilot steps which was a factory oversight or they just thought no one would notice lol. But the holes for them are there. I never had interest in these things, but had set up a book shelf for all my Lionel books and it looked ...
