Excellent seller! Top notch customer service. Book arrived damage but, this was not the seller's fault. It was in mint condition and well packaged. May have been USPS at fault for damage. Partial refund was received. Thank you for making things right! Highly recommended.

  • A classic cookbook that I’m happy to have in my collection

I’m an avid home chef and I also remember going to Lutèce as a kid. I’m so happy to have tracked this book down and really look forward to preparing these classic French recipes. They are written extremely clearly.

  • Lutece Cookbook

Soltner's story is interesting enough..like walking into a bank as a French citizen and procuring a 40G loan for the restaurant without any history of American credit whatsoever, then instilling in his restaurant his innate charisma style and love to make it one of the most loved dining establishments of its time. But even if you care nothing about the backstory, the recipes are classically French ; from comfort food to haute cuisine, you can trust Andre. A former student of the French Culinary Institute I was thrilled to learn of this man and his cooking.
