    Eat A Peach

Recorded at the legendary Criteria Studios in Miami and produced by Tom Dowd, it was the band’s first Top Ten album and includes the last three studio recordings of Duane Allman; his self-penned instrumental “Little Martha,” Dickie Betts’ “Blue Sky,” and “Stand Back.” Following Duane’s death, the band returned to the studio and recorded three more songs. One of them, “Melissa,” was written by Greg in 1967 and was a favorite of Duane’s. As a tribute to Duane, the band included three unreleased live cuts from their legendary performances at the Fillmore East. • Eat A Peach Deluxe Edition-Worth Purchasing

Have been an ABB fan since the early 70's. Have vinyl and CD of Eat A Peach already and it's an amazing album! The "extra" tracks are what is important about the Deluxe Edition. So happy I purchased this copy. Glad to see ABB band members keeping the music alive with Greg, Duane and the other members that are gone today! The CD's will live on forever.

  • Eat A Peach

Top shelf early Allman Brothers Band. I've often wondered where they found the grit to finish this record following the death of a founding member died half way through the recording process.
