    The Powerstack 5ah and 1.7ah batteries are not any better and not worth the price they cost.

    I've purchased both the 5ah and the 1.7ah power stack and honestly they DO NOT add any more power then th standard 5ah battery. The charge of the power stacks does not last any longer. I'm very disappointed in both of them. Now the casing on them is better. I've purchased about 100 batteries in the last 5 years and these power stack are my biggest fail of the Dewalt products I've purchased.
