This was a great price and the seller did say the package was open and unused. What they failed to mention was they opened it to remove the battery it came with so I also have to buy a pet-safe battery before I can use it. Not the end of the world but def. rude and inconvienent.

    Bigger than I'd like

    I bought this for my dachshund to go with my PIF-300 wireless system that we use when camping. It works great but it isn't much smaller than the standard one that comes with the system. I have the Pet Safe Elite Little Dog collar for my wired system and it is much smaller than this. It will have to do because it's the smallest one they have for the wireless system.

    Rechargeable collars are alot less frustrating!

    We tried it out, and my dog ran right through it. We tried what were supposed to be brand new batteries, sometimes it lights up,sometimes it doesnt. Stick to the kind that are rechargeable batteries, less headache! Dont know if it is the collar or the batteries now.

    Smaller unit for smaller dogs.

    Working with a hyper new puppy. She learned quickly where her boundaries were. However, she did follow me across the line. I believe this was because she thought of me as "home" or safety. We're working on it. This works with my units the same as the larger collar and can be used on a dog as small as 5 pounds. The larger collar is for 8 pounds and up. I'm planning to get one for my other dog (25#) just because I think it would be more comfortable.

    Free to Roam Wireless Fence Receiver Collar (Brand New

    it works great, except my dog learned it only shocked for a second ,so now she gets a running start and runs right through it,and so does everyone Else's dogs, with this do the same thing,they are willing to get shocked for a second just to get in the road
