I've bought many air pumps over the last 40yrs. all whisper brand, but not recently because they last so long & are built 2b repaired & serviced, unlike most other brands. This new design is bye far the best ever with more power, more quiet & expertly engineered with it's suspended sleek style. I was & am extremely satisfied & pleased 2b the proud owner of this latest whisper incarnation. Too loud
I purchased this for 75 gallon tank but I have a deepwater 300 for my 155 gallon that makes no noise at all. This works fine it's just the noise even have it on a mouse pad and that does not help.

'Puff', the magic air pump .
Great $ value...and quiet. What more can one ask ?. I am using it outdoors in my 800 gallon, 3' deep, palm shaded pond, connected to an ~ 7 sq. in. stone air diffuser. All my goldfish love and play thru the bubbles, which are especially beneficial in our warm weather, and oxygen necessary when a waterfall is not in operation. The online replacement diaphragms for my original (same model) pump are ~ 80 % of the price of a new pump. So... now I have two.!Great $ value...and quiet. What more can one ask ?. Slightly Loud, But Great Output
A little to the loud/audible side, but really cranks out the air pressure. Diaphram replacement/rebuild kits are readily available.....good to have one "on-hand" for emergencies. I'm using a 100 gallon size for a 70 gallon tank, running 4 air-stones 18" down, and feeding a 3rd gang valve which supplies air to 3 medium sized foam filters in 3 separate angel fish fry tanks. I'm considering that to be pretty respectable air output ( Like them enough to have 1 new one, and 1 rebuilt one, in storage for "just in case" ). If it was "silent" it would be 5 stars.
