    Awesome book big idea adventures!

    Iā€™ve been a fan of Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch for years and you can see a lot of Bryanā€™s early genius in this volume of high octane non stop action. The unique humor and big concept world/character building is what makes Warren Ellis a writing genius. His ability to acknowledge what heā€™s come before incorporate it into something bigger and better and build even more from there is just astounding. It also helps that the remastered art and collection format really flushed out these two amazing creators. Lets not forget the astonishing Laura Martin on colors who has gone on to do amazing stuff for Marvel and Paul Neary on inks makes this creative and book A MUST HAVE for any comic book enthusiast.

    Super Heroes or Super Bad Cops? You Decide.

    This is the best super hero not really heroic comic book that I've ever read. The protagonists of this book are all amazingly super powerful, and they KNOW it. They will not tolerate humanity being evil toward itself, and take EXTREME measures to root out the worst of our species and terminate them. The Authority is what Superman would have been, were he raised as a Luthor instead of by the Kents. However, even though their methods are brutal, you get a strong sense of their humanity and character, the good, the bad, the brilliant, and the flaws. Each member of the team is unique and interesting.
