  • Decent reference book; but, has errors.

If you are interested in WWII military history, this is a useful book for a broad look at German Infanterie units. It does contain errors though. Here is an example, the commander of the 76. Infanterie Division at the Battle of Stalingrad was Carl Rodenburg; yet, he is called "Carl Rosenburg" (sic) three times in this volume. Also, the picture descriptions leave much to be desired.
