Could have been better, but it works.
We needed a bike carrier for 4 bikes and chose this model as it is similar to our present carrier for two bikes, although not the same manufacturer. We just took the new carrier on a 1500 mile trip so I can pass on my experience from that. Pros: It seems solid, and the bikes (all full sized adult) fit- tight, and with much maneuvering to make them fit, but they fit and rode well. Cons: The adjustable parts, even after turned down very tight, slipped so that they moved during transit. Therefore because of the concern of all the bikes coming lose I used ratchet straps and bungee cords to hold everything tight. Once secured, and everything said and done, they did make the trip quite well. One last thing; we have a toyota mini van and the mounted bike handle bars came very close to the ...
