About this product

Product Information

Midway decided to do something a little different with its Mortal Kombat franchise. They decided rather than to make a whole new MK game, they'd make a game that focused on one particular character from the popular series; a mini MK if you will. They'd shine some light on his past and present gamers with a story, rather than mindless fights to win a tournament. The character of choice is Sub Zero, and the game is aptly titled Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub Zero.

Mythologies remains true to its parent series (up until Mortal Kombat 4, anyway) in a few aspects: all the characters are digitized and the game is still 2D. But unlike the other games in the series, this one's a platform adventure. You're not just fighting to win a tournament, you're fighting to find out the entire back story of Sub Zero. Sure, you'll still be beating up lots of bad guys, but the game is basically a "jump from platform to platform" game. Midway even throws in some RPG elements, such as item collection and an inventory screen, to spice things up a bit.

Comics arrived exactly as shown in listing pictures, they were shipped quickly and packaged very well; the constant Ohio rain couldn’t even affect the comics as they were dry as dusty bones even tho the usps somehow got the box soaked. Great seller would order from this seller again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Great Game!

I enjoy playing this game. The graphics are good (better than the N64 version). The full motion video in it, is excellent and compelling to watch. It has great gameplay. It's another great Mortal Kombat title. Thank you!

  • Do you like classics?

This game for ho like classic Mortal Kombat. You play as classic Sub-zero, in the same style as Mortal Kombat I, the history of the game is before the MKI, so, ho plays this games nows what happens before the chanpionship. You will face a lot of know enemys, like Scorpion and Quan Chi. Before you now you will be playing as a master ninja. The only thing that makes the game a little boring is the difficult, the game give you 4 continues with 4 lifes in each one, so you have to get to the end of the game playing with only this amount of life. I recommend this game fo everyone ho love MK.

  • Must have for fans of Mortal Kombat

The best stand alone Mortal Kombat character game. Difficult, but well worth playing.

  • Must own for any Mortal Kombat fan!

In 1997, nobody knew how a side scroll beat em up style Mortal Kombat game would turn out. I can honestly it's alot of fun and is basically Mortal Kombat stretched out in a very fun adventure. The gameplay takes alittle getting use to if you're a classic MK fan but the graphics are familiar and the story is pretty good. Unlike the N64 version, the PS version gives you some very cool cut scenes and get the MK 4 demo. Must own for any Mortal Kombat fan.

  • Sub Zero is a Gamers Legend.

I first bought this game when it had come out to the general public many, many moons ago. Well, sometime over the years I had lost the original copy so I decided to buy myself another copy. My 5 reasons I bought this game again are because: 1) I am a Mortal Kombat Fan. 2) This game is loads of fun! 3) Brings back old memories. 4) It's a Klassic! 5) It's nice to own a piece of Mortal Kombat history. If you wish to purchase this game please do not expect awesome graphics. This game is old. Keep an open mind.
