All around SOLID printer
The TSP700 is an absolute workhorse when it comes to thermal receipt printing. If you have devices that talk Serial then you are prefect out of the box with these units. STAR has a great selection of drivers, utilities, and documentation on their site to work with these. BE WARNED however that older versions of these printers (which most serial units are) are NOT compatible with the TCP/IP upgrade boards. They do not mention this ANYWHERE on the site and they are happy to "upgrade" you but for $175 a printer it is just not worth it! Much more practical to invest in something like a Silex SX500 which can be setup to be a serial print server and works like a dream! They can be had all over ebay for as little as $50.
