    Gotham Central

    You shouldn't be surprised how ingenious this series is when you combine Brubaker who is hands down the best street crime writer in the comics world with Larks pencils you get perfection every time. Then you add in the world of Batman and you get one of the most original stories for a character who has been around for a mere 75 years.
