    Powerful Improvement Over Basic 2.1/5.2Ghz Wifi

    My macbook pro browser performance was inexplicably slow on startup and when I switched to tethered mode on my iPhone, it would work fine. I had time machine 5.2Ghz wifi in the living room, about 5 yards away. Something just wasn't working. ASUS ZenWifi resolved the issue. I don't have any wifi6 devices, but dual-node system is itself a wifi6 device, which made a difference right away. I installed the router node in the garage and the unwired node unit in my office, up one floor and on the opposite corner of the house, separated by a 20 year old subzero refrigerator, a furnace, two streaming devices, and lots of personal gadgets. Out of the box, it worked immediately as a bridge, using an ethernet port on the node unit to plug in my compuler without using wifi., One of the nodes ...

    Ai Mesh router

    Extremely happy with the routers. Compared to the router they replaced, the WIFI coverage is much better, grant it that router was a single router, non mesh system. I tried a competitor product, also a mesh system, but I sent that system back in favor of the AI Mesh system. I have read that some had negative comments regarding the web app. I personally love all of the features it offers. I love the ease of use of the guest network as well. I have already recommended this product to family members.

    Best router I’ve ever owned

    I’ve had WiFi products from every manufacturer over the years, but ASUS hot this one out of the park. This replaced a Netgear Nighthawk that was nearly new yet inconsistent. I’m now getting near wired speed with better coverage. App is great, easy for those who just want to turn it on and go

    ASUS ZenWifi AX Outperforms

    I bout this pair on Feb 2, 2021. Excellent product. Greatly improved home wi-fi coverage, capacity, throughput, and reliability over a Netgear Nighthawk wireless router and repeater. Easy to set up and easy to monitor. Mesh connection can be either via wireless or Ethernet. Works great...very satisfied. My only complaint was that ASUS web site made it difficult to register product until I was informed it had to be registered as a set rather than via the individual serial numbers.

    Amazing Mesh System!

    This was my first foray into putting a mesh system in my home and I could not be happier! The ASUS Router app makes setting it all up incredibly easy and the range on these routers is phenomenal. The system automatically detects which one is the main router and which one is the satellite, and it automatically configured the 5Ghz backhaul link between them. The reason I went to mesh was because in my back office I had a very hard time getting a stable signal over wifi and it usually capped out at 60mbps up and down. Now with the XT8 I get 550mbps up and down in the same room. It’s honestly a total game changer for me and if you are considering a Wifi 6 mesh system I would stop looking and go with this. Orbi advertises higher speeds, but I’m getting 750mbps in the same room as the main unit ...
