I got this to try to block out electrical noises we hear at home at night that make me wake up with headaches. It works in noisy environments, but in a quiet environment it produces a low buzz or hum that can give me a headache just as well as the sounds I'm tryng to block out. I could get around this somewhat by placing the ear pieces only partly on my ears. It is really just an average piece of eqiupment, very reasonable quality for the price including sound quality when plugged in to a radio, etc. It did not meet my needs, but my needs are a little specific and unique. The small ear pieces work OK for me, and the heavy part on the neck piece is not a problem for me either, might be troublesome to some users. I think it could work very well for someone needing computer headphones to ...

  • Excellent noise reduction, best value for the $

Let's face it, the Bose noise canceling headsets are the best, but you need to shed $300+ for a pair. For less than a third of that, the Sennheiser's will give you really good noise reduction, similar to the open ear style Bose, and if one of the kids break them or you loose them, is less of a pain. The only cons of the PXC 150 is that they don't fold as the PXC 250 and the battery holder is kind of annoying. Other than that, for the price, they're really good. I have tried several styles and brands, from the super cheap, to the Bose, and the Sennheiser's are definitely the "best bang/value for the buck".

  • Excellent!

These headphones are lightweight and sounds great. I purchased for an overseas vacation (flight) and have not used for that purpose yet. However, I have given a try outside with the neighbor mowing his lawn and I was pretty impressed with how well the mower noise was reduced. Inside the house the noise level is reduced to virtually zero! Fantastic value.

  • Awesome!

These are great little headphones. I used them on a flight to and from Hong Kong and they really helped block the noise. I am sure there are better versions out there, but for my budget, $20 was perfect for what I needed!

  • Sennheiser PXC 150 Consumer Headphones

Great low budget headphones. Great help during work since it cancels out most of the chatting of my officemates but not comfortable enough to use it for many hours.
