Koos Eissen is an associate professor at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands, where he is responsible for the freehand and digital drawing classes at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Roselien Steur lectures at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague and specialises in design sketching workshops for professionals.

    Not at all what I thought it was, disappointed and still need a book on basic stetching now.

    Don't judge a book by it's title. This is a very advanced sketching book on PRODUCT design. It is not for beginners or first year artists. It is very specifically for learning to design consumer products, buildings and vehicles, product boxes and things of that sort. I would even argue the synopsis and title is false advertising. If you are interested in realistic sketching and have a few years of experience then this book is indispensable. It is very thorough in covering both paper and electronic design creation and completion with a priority on having the skills to sell your ideas to companies, or create options of a companies ideas who can then choose out of a variety you have created.
