    Great Biplane Trainer

    A fun plane to fly, I just wish that the AS3X was programable so that you, the pilot, could make it less docile. As stable as this plane is, it will build confidence quickly and being able to dial back the "stabilization" a notch or two would allow the pilot to use this aircraft to venture into mild aerobatics and some stunt flying. All in all, it is a great little plane.

    Ok out of box....minor mods make it a real winner

    4 instead of 5 because to get most out of it elev and rud throws need to be increased by moving linkage in on the horns; also about half oz nose weight is needed and a good 45 C battery

    easy relaxing entertaining.

    easy trainer but more over very relaxing and entertaining. i have many many models from 30 lb 90cc giants to these teeny little micros and some models just love to fly. this model just loves to fly. i really like the slow flight and just lazily flying pass after pass. the AS3X makes it a breeze to fly in the breeze . all kidding aside you can fly this model in the wind and the as3x really smooths things out. detailing is awesome and these little brushed gearbox motors have really come a long ways in the past 6-7 years. i can make the model loop with no problem but i had to go to 125% on the ailerons to get a big slow roll out of it. just remember to be 3 mistakes high if you do any rolls =D.

    No SAFE, only experimented pilots.

    You have to be an expert in flying airplanes, if you are a novice you cannot fly it, I had to buy a mother board with SAFE to be able to fly it. The model is very nice, and now with the modification it flies perfect.

    Extraordinary Gift

    I purchased this RC airplane model as a gift to my grandson (12 yrs. old). He went crazy the first time he saw it ready to fly. With a bit of patience I am teaching him how to fly it, including the Do and Don't. With continuous practice and experience it is going to last him for a long time.
