The book was delivered in the condition the seller described. Other than highlighted marks on the first few pages, the book is in very good condition. I also received the book much faster than was anticipated at the time of the purchase. The book came in a package that protected it from further marks, etc. I am well pleased with this seller and they deserve the best review. Thank you.

  • An excellent educational too for moderate to advanced

The book started a little bit slowly for me. I first read a book by Steve Mizerak which had all the beginners tips you would need from cue selection, stance, and your bridge all the way to hustling and various trick shots. This book focuses more on applied knowledge, physics behind the shots (don't worry its not as hard as it sounds) and how to use your knowledge to increase your playing ability. It does move a little slow as the first few chapteres focus on different types of fouls including double hit shots (where your cue stick hits the cue ball more than once in a stroke) but does progress to some amazing strategy and shot tips and techniques. A great book to add to a billiard library..

  • Robert byrnes pool book

  • A true wealth of information for all levels of pool players.

Robert Byrne is in my opinion the best source of information on the sport of pool presently writing in the world. He writes in a style that is able to be comprehended by all levels of reader. His writing clarifies rather than confuses. His knowledge of the sport makes him able to teach the most basic of principles, To the most advanced of concepts. I would recommend any of his books to any one that desires to advance their knowledge of the " sport of kings".
